All registered users can access the full text of the current and previous editions of the British Pharmacopoeia. It includes information on current activities, including monograph development and contact points.

- British Approved Names: clicking the tab takes users into the world of pharmaceutical generic names from where application forms for British Approved Names can be downloaded. Application forms for International Nonproprietary Names can be found on the World Health Organisation website.

Further information about the British Pharmacopoeia Commission can be found at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency website. Through the BP Laboratory, the British Pharmacopoeia Chemical Reference Substances (BPCRS) website can be accessed.
